Terms of Service

Effective August 20, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the WorkVista desktop application, related services, and workvista.ai website. By using WorkVista, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use WorkVista.

1. The service

WorkVista is a local-first work management application that connects to third-party email, calendar, contact, AI, and collaboration services chosen by the user. Features may change as the product develops. Beta or preview features may be incomplete, unavailable, or changed without notice.

2. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use WorkVista for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

3. Your accounts and credentials

You are responsible for your devices, connected accounts, license keys, API keys, and other credentials. You must have permission to access every account and item of data you connect to WorkVista. Keep your operating-system account and devices secure and notify the relevant provider if credentials are compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use WorkVista to:

5. Your data

You retain your rights in the data and content you provide or connect. You authorize WorkVista to process that data only as needed to provide the features you choose. You are responsible for determining whether your use of WorkVista complies with obligations that apply to your business, clients, employees, records, or industry.

WorkVista’s handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Third-party services

WorkVista interoperates with services not controlled by WorkVista, including Google, Microsoft, email providers, AI providers, local model software, and collaboration platforms. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and policies. WorkVista is not responsible for third-party availability, changes, outputs, security, or data practices.

7. AI-generated output

AI features may produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate output. AI output is provided as assistance, not as professional, legal, financial, medical, employment, safety, or other expert advice. You are responsible for reviewing output and deciding whether and how to use it. Do not rely on AI output without appropriate human verification.

8. Licenses, plans, and payment

Your right to use a build or feature may depend on a valid license, subscription, beta invitation, or application-store entitlement. Any price, renewal, cancellation, refund, or plan terms presented at purchase are incorporated into these Terms. WorkVista may enforce reasonable device and usage limits associated with a license or plan.

9. Software updates

Updates may add, change, or remove features, fix security issues, or alter compatibility with third-party services. You are responsible for maintaining backups appropriate to your needs before installing or testing software.

10. Intellectual property

WorkVista and its software, design, trademarks, documentation, and services are owned by WorkVista or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms grant only the limited right to use WorkVista under the license or plan made available to you. No other rights are transferred.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using WorkVista at any time. WorkVista may suspend or terminate access to WorkVista-operated services for violation of these Terms, security risk, fraud, nonpayment, legal requirements, or discontinuation of a service. Locally stored data may remain on your computer after access to an online service ends.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorkVista is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or compatibility. WorkVista does not guarantee that connected services will remain available or that the application will identify, organize, summarize, or preserve every item correctly.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorkVista will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or use arising from or related to WorkVista. WorkVista’s aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for WorkVista during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so portions of these sections may not apply to you.

14. Changes to these Terms

WorkVista may update these Terms as the product changes. Material updates will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
